TOPIC: \u201eStrategic Connections between Romania and Ukraine<\/i>\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

At the Moldova Regional Economic Forum, Loredana St\u0103nculescu, the Consul General of Romania in Chernivtsi, emphasized the importance of international cooperation and the support of the European Union in the current crisis and regional development context. In her intervention, the Romanian Consul in Chernivtsi praised the efforts made by local authorities and highlighted the relevance of infrastructure projects in the border area.<\/p>\n

\u201eI would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Mr. Ion \u0218tefanovici for organizing this event, for the multitude of experts present in this room, and for the extraordinarily important institutions. I am also pleased to see a representative of the European Commission with us. Cross-Border projects<\/b><\/p>\n

Loredana St\u0103nculescu highlighted cross-border projects aimed at developing the Ivano-Frankivsk and Chernivtsi regions. \u201eThe Romanian Consulate General in Chernivtsi focuses on cross-border projects. Ivano-Frankivsk and Chernivtsi, as a region, have been continuously supported<\/i>\u201d, emphasized the Consul.<\/p>\n

One of the key aspects of her intervention was the mention of the opening of new border crossing points. \u201eI participated in the opening of two border crossing points at Diakiv\u021bi, in the Boto\u0219ani area, and at Crasna, in the Suceava area. These are two extremely important border crossing points in the current context\u201d,<\/i> she stated. In light of recent crises, facilitating the movement of people and goods has become vital for both countries.<\/p>\n

Collaboration in difficult times<\/b><\/p>\n

Loredana St\u0103nculescu underscored the importance of continuous collaboration in the face of international crises, stating that \u201cwe have tried to manage crisis situations\u201d in a collaborative manner.<\/p>\n

The Consul highlighted the close and effective collaboration with Ukrainian authorities, especially during times of crisis. \u201eIn times of crisis, we face difficult situations, as was the case on February 24, but we have managed these situations and found the best solutions for both countries.<\/i>\u201d<\/p>\n
